How we created Community Connections
It is an absolute privilege to be able to co-host the community connections group with Linda Raven.
The Wounded Self
The importance of this work is to allow individuals to become empowered as an individual whilst belonging to a community.
I see my role here, in this community, as offering a bridge. A bridge for the wounded self, to access the work with the core wounds, which Linda lovingly offers.
It is after all the wounded self, who seeks the external healing.
What it is and what it is not
Community connections is a space where we hold the self as we begin our journey back to wholeness.
It is not a space where we hold others.
It is a space where the self is welcomed and accepted on all levels.
It is also a place where self is responsible for self
Triggers are our teachers
We can often become confused of our responsibilities. The responsibility for the self and the responsibility for others.
We sometimes look to those who trigger us to change their ways, so we are no longer triggered. The wounded self-unaware the trigger has come to offer a teaching.
The unconscious self seeks healing in an external way. Believing itself to be incapable of healing for itself, it searches for the external source. The one responsible.
But this journey is one which goes within.
The Core Wounds
Linda Ravens work supports those who seek to heal their own core wounds.
It is an invitation to those who feel the need to heal others. To those who are drawn to sharing their own healings with others.
Of course, this is how Linda and I met. On my own unconscious journey outside of the self.
The wounded self, looking to help others, whilst unaware of the avoidance of the help I needed for myself.
The wounded self, occupied by the troubles of others. Constantly reaching out to share medicine with them. To fix their problems. To help them to heal.
The wounded self so occupied in its role of service to others, it neglects the self.
And it never seems to work.
We share our healings only to feel exhausted.
We offer our medicine only to believe that we could have done more.
We cause ourselves turmoil becoming exasperated as we repeat our patterns, focusing the entire time on the wounds we see in others.
Unaware that we are seeking the wound in ‘other’, because we are yet to discover it in self.
The bridge
Community connections has been created to offer the bridge.
It is a place where the transition can begin.
A space to discover the wounded self. To observe it. To witness it.
More importantly to accept it.
It is a space to take responsibility.
With love.
With deep compassion.
With the same patience, and respect that we would offer to another.
In this space we welcome home the wounded self so that when we are ready to do the work, we have a place where we are safe to journey inward.

A Note From Linda Raven
My Intention
My intention in attending this community space as a facilitator is to support Anna in creating her community. I share the messages and teachings from the Black Rose to assist you to do the deeper inner work to heal the core wounds of the Heart by feeling and healing emotions and challenges.
My Requirements
As a facilitator, this work requires being on a call face to face with your
camera on. Full attention and presence from all is required, otherwise the
Light Transmissions from the Black Rose become distorted and out of
balance.
My Offerings
Without personal responsibility and engagement with the Rose
messages in which we might analyse our own actions and motivations, it
just becomes spiritual by-passing.
At the Heart of the Black Rose there is one simple Truth:
All healing comes from within.
